Asus Vg248qe Color Accuracy. I just recently bought an Asus VG248QE for my new pc build. As said before the fact that it has a 144Hz refresh rate makes it one of the few models to offer such performance. The default Contrast value is 80 and reducing it to 50 comes with a somewhat reduced color accuracy due to higher digital round-off noise. Those color settings are to help you get a little better color accuracy not that its the best way to achieve it though.
I have seen a lot of people saying its a bad choice because of how old it is but none really explain. It seems like a really great monitor for 1080p 144hz minus the color accuracy out of the box. Its color accuracy wasnt terrible but it wasnt ideal either. For the most part the VG248QE is a solid performer. ULMB no longer washes out the colors or gives it a red or blue tint. However this washed-out look is less visible when the monitor is used in a well-lit room as the ambient light of the room raises the perceivable black level of the monitor.
Hello EveryoneIf You Recently Purchased The Asus VG248QE monitor then chances are that you are not getting the good colors while playing gamesThe reason be.
However this washed-out look is less visible when the monitor is used in a well-lit room as the ambient light of the room raises the perceivable black level of the monitor. 24-inch Diagonal and Color Accuracy The ASUS VG248QE has a 24-inch diagonal and 1ms response time at a contrast ratio of 10001. Its color accuracy wasnt terrible but it wasnt ideal either. 2522014 Going to 60Hz-144Hz causes noticeable color degradation so a scanout going as fast as 1200sec causes even further color degradation. Having inconsistent fresh rates also effects the color. The Asus VG248QE has a 24-inch 1080P twisted nematic panel.
